Procedure and Information


Requirements

1) Bachelor's Degree. Applicants can be graduates of:

Sport Science,

Psychology,

Pedagogy,

Relevant Departments of Universities in Greece or respective Departments of recognized foreign Institutions,

Departments of Technological Educational Institutes of relevant fields, according to Article 5, Paragraph 12c of Law 2916/2001 (Government Gazette Issue 114 A)

25% of all students that will be admitted to the Master's Program "Psychology of Sport, Exercise and Physical Education" must be graduates of Sport Science Schools or respective Departments of recognized foreign Institutions. In the case that this term is not satisfied, the person in the last place of the table of successful applicants will be replaced by the first person in the table with the relevant Bachelor's Degree.

2) Certified knowledge of the English language at CEFR Level B2. (Certificates that have been recognized by ASEP are also acceptable)

Gather the documents that are mentioned in the relevant table. That table can also be used to approximately calculate the credits you will accumulate.

Evaluation Committee

The candidates' applications and the relevant required documents are submitted to the Secretariat of Postgraduate Programs of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Thessaly and then sent to the Master Student Selection Committee during the two periods mentioned above.

The results of the 1st application period will be available in mid-June while the results of the 2nd application period will be available in mid-September. The semester will begin in late September.

The work of the Committee involves:

Checking the applications as to their timeliness.

Verifying the language competence. Knowledge of the English language is established with a Certificate at CEFR Level B2. Holders of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from English-speaking Universities are exempt from this requirement.

Verifying and evaluating all submitted certificates.


Program Tuition Fees

The total cost of the Program amounts to 4.000 Euros. This is paid in two equal installments at the beginning of each academic year.

Photocopy of your ID

Receipt of the deposit of the first installment of the tuition fees (you will deposit the installment to the following ALPHABANK account: 310-00-2002-020927. The deposit reason MUST mention the number 5850, which is the code of the Program, as well as your full name)

After your registration is complete and you receive your Student Number, you will be able to electronically apply for your Student ID through the following website:
